Measure before you shop

Almost every return is a measurement that was guessed. Write these five down and keep them in your phone.

The five

Wall length at skirting height, ceiling height, window width including the reveal, doorway width, and the narrowest turn between the front door and the room.

The one people forget

The turn. A sofa that fits the room but not the stairwell is the most expensive mistake on this list.
